D igital displays and fancy credit card sized remotes sound like a great idea at first. That is until you really think outside of the box like I did and realize that it may not be all what it is hyped up to be.

See, years ago when we started selling Solar Comfort, which had been kept simpler without fancy gadgets, I too was thinking, "why don't we have these features?" Then I came to the realization and thought outside of the box for a moment. When was the last time I had a remote fail or perhaps a blinking 12 o clock or a failed vcr, dvd, stereo, etc? It became apparent that I had many items using these gadgets that had failed in a fairly short period of time. Where are these items today? In the landfills or sitting unused needing to be thrown away.

Also the first day I got the ComfortZone Infrared heater, I lost the tiny credit card sized remote for about a half hour. Also when asking a dealer for the ComfortZone what parts on the system they have had to replace, they fairly quickly mentioned 'The Motherboards'. Hmmm! I think my theory was put to rest.

The newer Edenpure with the Gen3 fell into the same trap. Sure it helps sell the item at first but really it is only going to lead to disappointments later with replacement parts. In my opinion it is not a matter of if it will fail but rather a matter of when it will fail.

I recently had a customer call that has had three of the Original Solar Comfort style heaters still in his home today. The Solar Comfort, other than upgraded parts, is virtually unchanged. It is the simplest system that does not use fancy remotes and digital displays. This is why you can expect that when you invest in a Solar Comfort, you are investing in a long-term Infrared heater that will last for many, many years to come. This is without even touching on its 25-year track record and safety.

Infrared heaters may look similar, but they certainly are not created equal. So is cost the only real difference in the selection of Infrared Heaters? Not at all! The quality of the Solar Comfort far exceeds all others in its class and is the safest as well! We can prove it!

So before you choose a system with all the fancies, think outside of the box for a moment before confirming your choice.
